Aeryxandra followed Lunatia's line of sight and saw the moon. Her eyes grew wide with sudden realisation.

This is bad. Dark magic is involved here.

She yanked her collar to check her chest.
Curses. I'm not wearing my protective amulet.

Seeing Lunatia's confused face, she took the time to explain.
I always wear a tricircle amutel infused with an invisibility from the magic eye spell. It makes me hidden to those who wishes to seek me by magical means.
I may have not mentioned it, but right now, I'm in hiding from my sister, Crescentia.

Aeryxandra stabbed her staff into the ground and began to mutter a spell.
I've cast an invisibilty form the magic eye spell on myself.
Now, we must wait until my sister gives up any hopes of looking for me here.

Why exactly are you hiding from her? And what kind of powers does she happen to have?

Suddenly the bushes shook again, and out of it a figure clad in dark clingy and revealing fabric revealed itself.
"Hallo, Aeryxandra." It said.

Hm, still sticking to your bad sense of clothes, I see.

"I don't know. Haven't seen her in decades." Crescentia answered non-chalantly.
You really should visit her sometimes. If you have shown more devotion, maybe you;d have the crystal ball now and not me.

"Since you know what I came for already..." She takes a few steps towards Aeryxandra her black staff poised at her. "Give it."

Aeryxandra shrugged.
I don't have it.
"What?!"
I broke it.
"Liar."

Crescentia glares at Andy and smiles coquettishly. "Thank you, you're not so bad yourself."
Aeryxandra rolls her eyes.
"Anyway," Crescentia said again, "back to business. The crystal ball, Aeryxandra, if you please. Or pretty boy here gets it."
She snaps her staff towards Andy and black shadowy tendrils shoot out of it to wrap themselves around him. Pulling him towards her and placing a threatening nail against his jugular she sneered triumphantly. "Your call."

Aeryxandra raised one eyebrow.
If you're going to blackmail me into doing something, at least find a better leverage. You can do what you want with him. I'm not giving up the Eye of Cerberus (the crystal ball's name) for a mere mortal.
In any case, what use will you find for it? You have the crystal-ball-reading skills of a mortal.

I'll take this chance to recast the barrier 1st...
i hope with this the manipulation effect of that WITCH on Dyrad will gone..
If my plan is succesful, Dyrad will turn out atkng Crescentia -with reason she's intruder

The barrier is recast. Cresecntia's command over the dryad is relinquished. After a few dazed moment the creature realises the presence of an intruder within its territory and moves to get rid of it.
It swung one of it's massive branches towards Crescentia, who froze in shock.

Fool.
Aeryxandra cursed. With her staff she produced flames to drive the Dryad back.

Release him. Aeryxandra yelled.
"No!"
Release him so you can protect yourself, fool.

Having no other choice Crescentia let her captive go and together with the Aeryxandra drove the Dryad away.

"You saved me."
Did I? I barely noticed. Aeryxandra said sarcastically
"I still want that crystal ball."
Stubborn as always, aren't you? Fine, only if you swear a witch's oath to leave me alone and stop following me around for anymore of my property!
"Cross my black heart." Crescentia tried to put on a sweet sincere face.

Aeryxandra snapped her finger and a puff of black smoke formed around her hand. When the smoke disperses there it is, the Eye of Cerberus in her hands. She held it out for Crescentia, who took it almost immediately.

"Thank you," she said darkly
Off with you now.

Crescentia, holding the crystal ball in one hand, twirled her staff in the other above her head before stabbing the eath with it. Black smoke creeps out from under her boots, engulfing her completely. When they were gone, so was she.

Is that mean that they will never chase you anymore??

The witch's oath is binding. I wouldn't say for sure I would be safe.
She might come back for the real Eye of Cerberus.

I don't believe she's capable of that. She has Dark magic but she's not evil by nature. In addition she has a weakness towards those of the male persuasion.
So fear not, Andy. Your hide is safe. Do you not trust the TriCircle charm I sold you?
