well if it isn't everyone that joins in the future will probably become a hero!
and with everyone a hero it won't be fun any more because every one is the same!

good point, but they are not choose job as a hero though..
the non hero does fight but cant take the "hero quest".
Moreover, each person would have different basic job and types which makes more variation

Other thing, even its called a hero, its just a job, and will means nth if you are not out there fighting monsters
