"Hello I would like to purchace the spell Invisibility please"

Aeryxandra looks her customer up and down.

I've never seen you before. Newcomer, eh? I see you are in a hurry to get into trouble.

She reached for her staff and extended a palm.

That would be 200G please. I'd be most appreciative if you'd pay before I perform the spell. I've had experiences with mortals who think they're smart enough to swindle a witch.

I've seen that happen before...

Aeryxandra glided back behind the counter and uttered something under her breath while waving her hand across the latch to her cabinet on the wall. The glass door of the cabinet slided by its own. Aeryxandra reaches for a small vial containing a greyish silver liquid and sloshed it around.

Mermaid's tears. The most powerful healing substance known to magic-folk. And it's yours for 1000G.

Now these mermaid tears do they have to be used right away or can they be used for later battles?

You must use them immediately after you open the vial. Long exposure to human air will taint it. And the longer it is left opened, the less power it has. As long as it is kept in the vial, you can use them whenever you want to. I can show you how to use them the first time. Interested?

I guess it can't be helped. I can't be sorry for how expensive they are, but mermaids are not the easiest thing to catch, especially ones that are crying. Now watch closely.

Aeryxandra unplugs the vial and pours the contents on Lukas's wound slowly. Each drop of the substance falls on skin and evaporates into thin silvery wisps of smoke.

The trick is to not pour it too fast. Otherwise it spills over and becomes wasted.

Soon the wound has sealed itself and new skin had grown so that there were no traces of injury at all.

Amazing, isn't it?

She put the stopper back on the vial and hands in to Lukas.

Here, I didn't have to use it all so you may have what's left of it. Mind you, it would be less powerful since it's already exposed to air for awhile. And now, for the invisibility spell.

She swings her staff around and closes her eyes. Muttering a few inaudible words, she points her now glowing staff at Lukas and released the magic. And then he was nowhere to be seen.
